PHIL COLLINS RADIO INTERVIEW SPECIALS – Various Dates

GENESIS RADIO INTERVIEW SPECIALS – Various Dates

When Phil officially departed Genesis in 1996, the first thing he did professionally was to fulfill a life-long dream of performing in a big band jazz ensemble. So he put together some of the world’s finest jazz musicians, reworked some of his best songs, and headed out on the road.
As with the BOTH SIDES TOUR listed previously, there does appear to be at least one pre-FM show from this tour, recorded at The Stavinski Auditorium in Montreux, Switzerland on 17 July 1996. Details on this recording are sketchy as I cannot find any information on which company (Westwood One, King Biscuit, etc.) recorded and produced the pre-FM discs, nor can I determine the original broadcast date for these discs. Some information on this show can be found HERE. Based on what I see there, if I had to guess, I’d say this show was more than likely sourced from an FM simulcast.
Unlike other tours, there are no other FM broadcasts or simulcasts from this tour in circulation, but part of me believes that there must be some other shows out there somewhere.
If you have any information regarding pre-FM shows from this tour, please Contact Me.
